More than thirty years ago, the story of MGS began with dreams of Shahriar. Fueled by a passion for woodworking and a relentless work ethic, Shahriar laid the foundation of our business. Each piece crafted under his watchful eye bore not only the mark of exquisite craftsmanship but also the soul he poured into every project. Shahriar’s dedication and love for the trade became the cornerstone upon which the business was built, creating a legacy that would stand the test of time. 25 years later, when he retired the company changed name to Modern Grain Studio after the acquisition with team’s experience taking a modern pledge.

Fariba is the reason why the team work with passion side by side like a family every day despite the unavoidable construction project challenges.
For years, she has been the heartbeat of Woody Woodmaker continuing to adapt within MSG, seamlessly navigating the intricacies of running design team. Fariba’s role extends beyond alliance; she is the sharp eye that keeps pieces of projects together humbly. Her keen eye for design and commitment to excellence ensures that each creation is not merely functional but a work of art. Fariba’s touch is the invisible thread that weaves artistry into every custom piece, making MGS not just a workshop but a haven for creativity. Today she continues to bring her years of experience in interior design to projects and work in back office.

Now, in the hands of the second generation, MGS operates as smooth as it does with Jeet at the helm. Having spent many years honing his skills under Shahriar’s guidance, Jeet seamlessly blends tradition with innovation overseeing fabrication teams and project timelines at the shop. He brings a modern vision to the legacy, infusing the business with the latest technologies, design concepts, and project management tools. Jeet’s commitment is twofold – meeting the diverse needs of our clients while ensuring the economic viability of the business. His approach combines the wisdom gained from Shahriar’s craftsmanship with the forward-thinking mindset required to thrive in a dynamic market.
Today, Jeet and his team take care of fabrications at the shop with their energy, passion and streamlined systems brought in by management.

The company was acquired by ARSO Group of Trade Companies Inc. in 2019 and since then entered a different arena. Mike’s intensive experience in establishment and growth of trades reshaped the entire structure and opened up great business opportunities. Today with leverage from tech back bone and management policies of parent companies tested over many years, MGS continues to operate as an optimized supply chain in its market segment.
Mike’s hands on experience allows us to pledge into any challenging project with full confidence. Often times he stays in charge of new clients to leverage full authority for 100% client satisfaction while implementing zero-delay-policy for time-sensitive projects.
